Ripatransone
Ripatransone is a medieval hilltop village nicknamed "the balcony of the Marche" for its breathtaking panorama stretching from the Adriatic Sea to the Sibillini Mountains. Its narrow lanes — one of which is the narrowest in Italy — silent squares and perfectly preserved historic centre offer an authentic glimpse into medieval Marche. Every Easter, the village comes alive with the "Cavallo di Fuoco", a spectacular pyrotechnic pageant dating from 1682.
