My father and grandfather, after a lifetime of sacrifice as sharecroppers, working land that was not their own, managed in the late 1960s to buy — with a large loan — the land and house they knew every crease of, every clod of... but had never owned.
One day, looking in the distance at the home I had always known, I realised that all their work and sweat would come to nothing... and so I decided their sacrifices should not remain just a memory.
And so my adventure with Il Podere del Nonno began!Il Podere del Nonno!
Immersed among lush vineyards and olive groves, nestled in the beautiful Marche hills, you will find our small agriturismo: "Il Podere del Nonno", born to welcome those who appreciate nature in its colours and silences, and a strategic base for historical, artistic and food-and-wine tours.
Just 15 km from the beautiful beaches of Cupra Marittima, Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto... and only 45 minutes from the Sibillini Mountains, it is also close to several charming rural villages such as Ripatransone, Offida and Ascoli Piceno.

Owner and Heart of the Agriturismo
Daughter of Grandpa Gabriele, Manuela decided to honour the sacrifices of her father and grandfather by transforming the farm into an agriturismo. With passion and dedication, she personally welcomes guests, prepares homemade breakfasts and shares the story of her family.
The Old Guard
Married since forever, they work these lands every day and tell stories of sacrifice and passion. They embraced the idea of hospitality from the very start — for them, every guest is always at home.
The New Generation
Manuela's sons bring innovation while maintaining family traditions. Despite their studies, alongside their mum and grandparents, they look after the vineyards and olive trees.
